waff48

Once again Athens Bible School participated in the WAFF 48 Holiday Can-a-thon. The final collection day was Thursday, December 6. Eight counties in North Alabama were involved in the event, including Limestone County. Donations go directly to Athens-Limestone Food and Shelter, an agency that serves Limestone County residents in need.

The Beta Club at ABS heads up the food collection each year with enthusiastic participation by all the student body.

ABS collected 3,736 cans of food and non-perishable items during the Can-a-Thon. Most cans in high school -- 12th grade, and in elementary -- 6th grade.
