ABS Senior Beta Rocks the House and Wins FIRST PLACE!
Our Senior Beta Club team gave a great performance on March 17th at the 2011 Senior Beta State Convention in Birmingham and they were awarded First Place in the Group Talent category. Cory Elrod accepted the award for the team and dedicated it to Dr. Olson.
Trenton Barksdale also won Second Place in Spelling and Kathryn Neeley won Second Place in Photography!
Our team will now advance to the Nationals!

Our Trobotics, Inc. team is attending the 2011 AUVSI Pathfinder Symposium at the Von Braun Civic Center on March 16th and 17th.
Our team won the Robotics Performance Challenge and they were awarded $250 and were featured on the Channel 19 Evening News on March 16th. Click here to view our Trobotics team on Channel 19. Several of our students were also interviewed by The Huntsville Times.

Award Winning Coach
ABS is proud to announce that Coach Bill Murrell will be inducted into the AHSAA Hall of Fame on March 21, 2011.
Coach Murrell has coached Baseball at ABS for 37 years and Cross-Country for 34 years, winning state titles and multiple runner-up trophies in both sports.
