Athens Bible School sets high academic standards for its students. Athens Bible School has been accredited for over 60 years, and is presently accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

Elementary-Level Standards

Athens Bible School uses the Standford Achievement Test (SAT) series as a diagnostic tool for its elementary students. On average, ABS students' scores on these exams demonstrate an academic aptitude that is two grade levels higher than the students' actual grade level. In a national comparison to other schools, Athens Bible School's average scores on these exams have been above the 80th percentile for over a decade.

Secondary-Level Standards

Athens Bible School offers both regular and advanced diplomas, as well as Dual Enrollment College courses in English and Spanish.  ABS graduates are often recognized as National Merit finalists, and over 95% of our students go on to higher education. Our students have excelled at the local, state, and national levels in such events as the Beta Club, the Scholars Bowl, and the History Fair.

In the graduating class of 2008:

• 100 percent of our graduates were accepted to college,
  
• Two graduates were recognized as National Merit finalists, and
  
• Almost $2 million in scholarships were awarded to our graduates.
