Science Fair Activities from 2009:

At the State Science Fair at UAH on Friday, April 3, Tyler Hudson won Honorable Mention in the Physical Science Jr. Division.  Charlie Cook won 3rd place in Optics & Photonics from the International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE). He also won 4th place in the Engineering Jr. Division. Congratulations, Tyler and Charlie!

We are happy to announce our Regional Science Fair Winners:

5th Grade Division Stuart Bullington: 2nd place ribbon; Andrew Brackeen: 3rd place ribbon; John Robert Bobo: 4th place ribbon; Emily Webb: 4th place ribbon Gable Duke: 4th place ribbon: special award by NASA (included backpack with light-up yoyo and other goodies)

Trenton Barksdale, a Freshman at ABS, won the Grand Prize Award at the recent Science Fair. His project dealt with "Drought Stress on Alabama Crops". Congratulations, Trenton! Now, on to the next step...
