Elementary Travels Through Time

Sixth Grade Time Machine

Mrs. Hall's sixth graders have been working on a time machine project with much success. However, the vehicle needs a little fine-tuning in order to arrive in the correct time period! The time travelers embark on a journey into 1942 (they think). Each elementary grade sang songs of the time periods they portrayed.

The Time Machine is Ready to Travel!

After some last-minute discussion, the travelers board the Time Machine and take off--
but they did not travel directly to 1942! Let's look at time periods they visited on the way!
They met some Indians (Kindergarten) in the Pre-Revolutionary period of the future USA.

A stop was made in the later 1800's when there were lots of cowboys and cowgirls (First Graders).

 
Back in the Time Machine the travelers again set their destination for 1942...this time they made a stop in the Revolutionary period and met George Washington and some of his friends (Second Graders).

Another stop they made was right in the middle of the 1849 Gold Rush! Prospectors (Third Graders) were panning for gold!

The time travelers finally made it to 1942 during World War II.

Another stop along the way was during the Civil War! (Fifth Grade)

Sixth Graders were happy to get back to the present--at last.
